विश्व कैंसर दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष 4 फ़रवरी को मनाया जाता है। आधुनिक विश्व में कैंसर एक ऐसी बीमारी है जिससे सबसे ज़्यादा लोगों की मृत्यु होती है। विश्व में इस बीमारी की चपेट में सबसे अधिक मरीज़ हैं। तमाम प्रयासों के बावजूद कैंसर के मरीजों की संख्या में कोई कमी नहीं आ रही है। इसी कारण विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन ने हर साल 4 फरवरी को विश्व कैंसर दिवस की तरह मनाने का निर्णय लिया ताकि लोगों को इस भयानक बीमारी कैंसर से होने वाले नुकसान के बारे में बताया जा सकें और लोगों को अधिक से अधिक जागरूक किया जा सकें।
